November has arrived and Dublin is buzzing with excitement! If you're looking to make the most of your time in the city, you're in luck — I've compiled a list of the best events happening all month long. Whether you’re into live music, theatre or just looking for an excuse to dance the night away, Dublin’s got you covered. Keep reading for all the highlights and trust me, you won’t want to miss a thing!

 

Every Tuesdays - Cathedral Night Tours 

As evening falls, the old bells ring through the city. Step into St. Patrick’s Cathedral, where candlelight flickers and history fills the air. Tickets are €18 for events on the 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th.

 

1st - The Bernard Shaw 

Kicking off the month, The Bernard Shaw has an entire day of activities planned. From 12pm to 6pm, check out The Racket Store and The Racket Space — it’s a mix of markets and good vibes. If you're more of a night owl, don’t miss the Quiz & Bingo at 9pm on the Main Floor (get ready to show off those random trivia skills). Football fans can also catch Boh’s vs Galway United at 7:45pm in the Main Bar. Plus, from 7pm to 10pm, Most Wanted will be rocking The Racket Space. Book your spot now! 

 

Dublin By Night Fest 

On the 1st, celebrate Dublin’s nightlife with lots of music, plenty of food and craft at Dublin by Night Fest! At the Drury & South William Street.

 

1st to 16th - Hamilton - The Musical

Don’t throw away your shot — this is your last chance to catch Hamilton at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre! This musical phenomenon tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant who helped shape the United States during its early years. With a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues and Broadway, it's a show that redefines how history is told. Tickets start at €36.50, so grab yours while you can!

 

From 1st to January - Whiskey & Warmth 

Warm up this season with Whiskey & Warmth’s Irish coffee masterclass! For just €25, enjoy an hour at their distillery, learning from whiskey experts. You’ll taste two premium Irish whiskeys and master the perfect Irish coffee — ideal for a fun day with friends or family!

 

2nd - Pearl Jam MTV Unplugged & Nirvana MTV Live and Loud 

Rock fans, this one's for you. Pearl Jam MTV Unplugged and Nirvana MTV Live and Loud are coming to The National Stadium. These iconic performances have been meticulously recreated, so you can relive the magic live on stage. Tickets start at €53 for general admission, with VIP tickets from €80. 

 

Scooter 

And, also on the 2nd, for techno lovers, Scooter will be lighting up the 3Arena as part of their 30th-anniversary ‘Thirty, Rough and Dirty’ tour. Tickets start at €47, so grab your glow sticks and let’s rave!  

 

3rd - WWE Live! 

Wrestling fans, it’s time to rumble! WWE is coming to Dublin for the first and only time in 2024. Tickets start at €39.20 and the 3Arena will be packed with excitement and body slams. Don’t miss out on the chance to see your favourite wrestlers live in action!

 

4th to January - LGBTQ+ Guided Tour 

EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum offers a custom tour highlighting LGBTQ+ stories, featuring figures like Dr. James Barry and award-winning author Emma O'Donoghue. The event price is €21.

 

7th to 10th - A Literary Walking Tour, Dublin Book Festival 

Don’t miss this fun tour exploring Dublin’s famous writers in the heart of a UNESCO City of Literature! Stroll through iconic streets, with tours at 11:30 & 14:30, at Dublin Castle. Admission start at €25.

 

8th – The Beatles By Candlelight 

Join a magical night of Beatles hits like never before at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin. West End singers, live band and candlelight create an unforgettable concert. Tickets from €30. 

 

9th - Sepultura - Celebrating Life Through Death 

Get ready for a night of heavy metal as Sepultura rocks the 3Olympia Theatre. This farewell tour is a celebration of their 40-year journey, so it’s going to be one for the ages. Tickets start at €66.70. Metalheads, unite!

The Corrs 

Irish Celtic infused pop icons, The Corrs announce an eight-date UK & Ireland tour titled ‘Talk On Corners’ which will see them play 3Arena on the 9th. Admission sold out (keep an eye that sometimes some last minute tickets shows up). 

 

10th - Interpol 

To mark the anniversary of their album Antics, Interpol is hitting the 3Arena for a night of nostalgia and indie rock greatness. Tickets start at €56.85 and the special guest DUST will make it an unforgettable night. 

 

12th - Waltons World Masters - Soweto Gospel Choir 

After sold-out shows in 2008 and 2013, the amazing Soweto Gospel Choir returns to the National Concert Hall for their only 2024 performance in Ireland. Tickets just €20! 

 

Allie Sherlock

Allie Sherlock, a 19-year-old singer-songwriter from Cork, started out busking in Cork and Dublin. Her unique voice and charm have gained her over 14.5 million fans worldwide. Catch her live at Whelan's for €17.15! 

 

12th and 13th - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds 

The legendary Nick Cave is back with two headline shows at the 3Arena. With a ticket price starting at €65, this is a must-see for anyone who appreciates dark, haunting melodies and epic live performances. 

 

13th - Nas - Illmatic 30 Year Anniversary Tour 

Hip hop royalty is coming to Dublin! Nas will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of his iconic album Illmatic at the 3Olympia Theatre. Admissions are from €89.40, so if you’re a hip hop fan, don’t miss this milestone performance. 

 

13th to 16th - Nutcracker Sweeties - Ballet Ireland 

Ready to get into the Christmas spirit? Nutcracker Sweeties is the perfect family-friendly event at The Gaiety Theatre. Tickets start at just €13.50, so gather the little ones and prepare to be enchanted by this festive ballet. 

 

14th, 15th and 16th - The Script 

Irish favourites The Script are returning to the 3Arena for three nights due to popular demand. Tickets start from €51.20, but they’re almost sold out — so grab yours now! Special guest Tom Walker will also be joining them on stage. 

 

From 15th to January – Ice Skating Blanchardstown 

Ice Skating Blanchardstown returns to Millennium Park in 2024 with new theming and world-class decorations, offering a fun winter experience for all ages. Event price: €21.00 

 

16th - Metallica Orchestral 

If you’re a Metallica fan, this is the gig of your dreams. A tribute act with a symphonic twist, the Metallica S&M experience is coming to Dublin for one night only at The National Stadium. General admission is €53, with VIP tickets at €80. Metal meets orchestra? Yes, please. 

 

The Bernard Shaw 

On the 16th, The Bernard Shaw is hosting a full day of craic, starting with The Dance & DJ Vinyl Market from 11am to 6pm at The Racket Store. Browse the Flea Market from 12pm to 4pm, enjoy delicious bites from food trucks and don't miss the lively Drag Brunch at 1pm and 3:30pm. The night kicks off with Quiz & Bingo at 9pm on the Main Floor, followed by an epic party — Absys Rec’s 16th birthday bash from 7pm to 3am in The Racket Space, featuring Zero T & Interruption.

 

17th - Benson Boone 

Benson Boone, the breakout star from Reels, is bringing his Fireworks & Rollerblades tour to the 3Olympia Theatre. Admissions start at €41.40. Don’t miss your chance to see this rising star live! 

 

20th to 24th - Swan Lake - State Ballet of Georgia 

Ballet fans, don’t miss the State Ballet of Georgia’s production of Swan Lake at Bord Gais Energy Theatre. Tickets start at just €31.50 for this classic tale of love and deception. 

 

21st - Ireland v Azerbaijan: FIBA Men's Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifier 

Cheer on Ireland's MNT as they face Azerbaijan in a must-win FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 pre-qualifying game this November! Catch all the action at the National Basketball Arena. Tickets are €28.

 

23rd - QUEEN Orchestral 

If you love Queen and orchestras, then this is the event for you! QUEEN Orchestral takes the 3Arena stage for a night of classic rock with a symphonic twist. Tickets start from €39.90. 

 

Johnny Cash Returns 

Also on the 23rd, head to the National Stadium for a Johnny Cash & June Carter tribute that will take you straight to the heart of country music. Tickets from €53 — don’t miss out on the legendary music of The Man in Black.

 

24th – Monobloco 

Monobloco is bringing the heat of Brazil to Dublin on November 24th at The Button Factory! With nine drummers, they'll have you dancing to samba, funk, and classic Brazilian hits. Tickets are €40 — don't miss this party!

25th - Anthrax & Kreator 

Metal legends Anthrax and Kreator are joining forces for an epic show at 3Arena. They’ll be joined by Testament for a night of thrash metal you won’t forget. Tickets start at €72.20. Get ready for some serious headbanging! 

 

27th - Mo Gilligan 

British comedian Mo Gilligan is bringing his laugh-out-loud show to the 3Olympia Theatre. With tickets starting at just €29.50, this promises to be an unforgettable night of comedy! 

 

29th - Vampire Weekend
